Bass 2.4 and 2.4.2 are incompatible as BASS_RECORDINFO.driver was removed and BASS_RECORDINFO.freq now points to a wrong memory location if Bass 2.4 is used. As we use 2.4 and not 2.4.2 this change is guarded by an IFNDEF BASS_242 which is undefined at the moment. (SDL_GL_ALPHA_SIZE), otherwise on a few systems with some versions of SDL (at least 1.2.11) SDL_SetVideoMode will fail.
